Angel Asiamah Addresses Critics: ‘I Never Had Sex Until Age 25, So Why Can’t I Wait for Agradaa?’

Angel Asiamah, husband of the controversial spiritualist Nana Agradaa, has publicly addressed critics and speculation surrounding his personal life following his wife’s recent 15-year jail sentence. Nana Agradaa was convicted of defrauding members of her church by falsely promising to double their money.

Asiamah’s comments come in response to public discourse questioning his ability to remain celibate during his wife’s lengthy incarceration. He robustly defended his stance, drawing on his past.

“Maybe they’ve forgotten that from the time I was born until the age of 25, I had never slept with a woman,” Asiamah stated.

He continued, “I lived a celibate life all those years, so if I could do that then, I can definitely do it now, even if my wife has to serve the full 15-year prison sentence.”

His remarks aim to put to rest the ongoing public speculation and affirm his commitment to his marriage despite the challenging circumstances. The conviction of Nana Agradaa has been a high-profile case, drawing significant public attention to both her activities and the lives of those associated with her.
