The Tsali-Doe Dallah Akplormada Family of Tsiame in the Keta Municipality is set to host the much-anticipated Tsali Za 2025 festival, a five-day event dedicated to celebrating unity and restoring cultural heritage. The festival will take place from Wednesday, October 22, to Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Tsiame.
Tsali Za is a significant cultural event that honors the legacy of Togbi Tsali, a revered ancestor of the Ewe people, particularly the Anlo. Oral tradition credits Togbi Tsali with leading the Ewe people during their migration from Notsie and aiding them with his mystical powers.
The festival’s theme, “Celebrating Unity in Diversity, Restoring Our Cultural Heritage,” aims to bring together people from all walks of life to reconnect with their roots and strengthen community bonds.
