Dreams FC tactician Abdul Karim Zito has lamented about his outfit position in the Ghana Premier League, saying their performance does not reflect on the table.
The Still Believe lads, who made a solid debut in the CAF Confederation Cup last season has yet to win a game in the Ghanaian top-flight after seven matches. They have managed four draws and three losses.
Dreams FC are currently languishing at the 17th position on the league standings with just seven points.
The former Ghana FA Cup champions played out a 0-0 draw against Hearts of Oak at the Tuba Astro Turf at the weekend.
And speaking after the game, Zito emphasized his outfit performance in the Ghanaian top-flight does not reflect on the table.
“Our performance in the league doesn’t reflect on our position. My boys are playing well but putting the ball in the net is our biggest problem” he after the game.
The 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup semifinalist will travel to Wenchi to face Young Apostles in matchday 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
It promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams will be yearning for maximum points after stalemates in their previous games.
