AWUSCO 2003 Year Group Rounds Off 2025 with Major Project Commitment

The 2003-year group of Awudome Senior High School (OSUA 03) wrapped up its 2025 administrative year with a major gathering at the scenic Wadiva Waterfront-Adomi, drawing alumni from across Ghana for discussions on accountability, constitutional updates, and a landmark commitment to their alma mater.

Group Organizer Raymond Nyansah opened the event by praising members’ dedication to recent union initiatives. OSUA 03 President Mawunya Akpebu then delivered fraternal greetings from Global President Dr. Felix Nyarko, underscoring the group’s strong position within the broader OSUA network.

“We are grateful to all of you for your continued support. We hope and pray that as the new year unfolds, God give us strength and bless us with the needed resources to make our Alma mater and union great.” He noted.

In a highlight of the meeting, members unanimously approved a Project Committee proposal to build a 12-seater toilet facility at Awudome Senior High School. The initiative directly addresses the school’s administration’s request for improved infrastructure to enhance hygiene and institutional standards.

To drive the project forward, the group committed to new fundraising approaches to achieve swift completion. They also resolved to amend select constitutional clauses, ensuring the organization stays agile and member-focused.

The group also honored past executives with citations for their service. Former Secretary Courage Donkor accepted the recognition on behalf of the group, thanking the current leadership and vowing continued support for initiatives that propel OSUA 03 forward.

Following the presentations, President Akpebu urged members to prioritize their health through regular medical check-ups and regular exercise, emphasizing that personal well-being is the foundation of their collective success.

The formal proceedings gave way to a spirited social atmosphere where Amembers enjoyed boat rides on the Volta River, competitive games, and a banquet of good food. The day concluded with lively music and dancing, capping a successful year and strengthening the bonds formed decades ago. As the sun set over the Adomi Bridge, the group departed with a renewed sense of purpose for the year ahead.
