Ho Central MP Donates GH¢10,000 to Support Student’s Urgent Surgery

The Member of Parliament for Ho Central Constituency, Hon. Edem Kpotosu, has donated GH¢10,000 towards the medical treatment of Miss Mavis Agbo, a courageous student of Takla Tokor E.P. Basic School who is battling lumbar scoliosis.

The contribution is intended to help cover part of the GH¢483,869 needed for Miss Agbo’s urgent surgery and ongoing treatment. In a heartfelt appeal, Hon. Kpotosu called on friends, well-wishers, and compassionate individuals to join him in supporting the young student’s cause.

“Together, we can give Mavis a chance at a healthier and brighter future,” he stated.

Hon. Kpotosu, who was elected as the MP for Ho Central on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general elections, has been actively involved in community development and youth empowerment initiatives in the Volta Region.

The appeal underscores the urgent need for collective support to enable Miss Agbo to access the specialized medical care required to improve her health and quality of life.
