President Akufo-Addo Persuades Upper East Region to Support Bawumia’s Candidature

In a recent engagement with traditional rulers, clergy, Imams, and key stakeholders in the Upper East Region, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reflected on the significant strides made across various sectors during his presidency.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and social welfare initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of Ghanaians.

During his address, President Akufo-Addo expressed pride in the progress achieved, stating, “The development projects and policies implemented during my tenure have been geared towards improving the lives of every Ghanaian”.

He highlighted the importance of continued support for these initiatives as the country approaches the December elections.

Looking ahead, President Akufo-Addo endorsed Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the NPP’s presidential candidate, asserting that he is well-equipped to lead Ghana towards a prosperous future. “As we look to the future, I firmly believe that the fortunes of the Upper East Region are secured in the capable hands of Dr. Bawumia,” he stated.

The President urged residents to support Bawumia in the upcoming elections to ensure that the momentum of development continues for generations to come.
