Prof. Opoku-Agyemang Engages with African Development Bank on Key Development Initiatives

Vice President-Elect Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang recently welcomed Eyerusalem Fasika, the Country Manager of the African Development Bank (AfDB), for a courtesy call. The meeting centered on critical priorities including social development, capacity building, and private sector development, which are in line with the Bank’s High 5 Priorities.

In a significant move to uphold the commitment to the party’s manifesto promise regarding the establishment of a Women Development Bank (WDB), Prof. Opoku-Agyemang invited the 2024 Manifesto Sub Committee on Business Development and Entrepreneurship to participate in the discussions. This initiative underscores the importance of collaboration with development partners to ensure that promises made to the electorate are fulfilled.
