Ghanaian media personality Serwaa Amihere has shared her profound regret following the sudden passing of Highlife legend Daddy Lumba. Amihere, who was seen in a viral video confirming the musician’s death on his radio station, revealed a poignant detail about their last interaction.
According to Amihere, her final conversation with Daddy Lumba took place just a week before his demise. During this interaction, the celebrated musician extended an invitation to her home for a fufu date.
“I should have honoured Lumba’s invitation if I knew he would die soon,” Amihere lamented, expressing deep sorrow over the missed opportunity.
She further disclosed that she and Daddy Lumba had been in the midst of planning a concert scheduled for December 28, 2025, building on the success of a previous show they held in February of the same year.
Daddy Lumba, who passed away at the age of 60, was a colossal figure in the Ghana music industry, celebrated for his extensive discography of over 33 albums and numerous hit songs.
