Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured Ghanaians that the 2025 Budget is a true reflection of their needs, aspirations, and genuine desires.
Presenting the budget to Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, under the theme “Resetting the Economy for Ghana We Want,” he emphasized that the budget was shaped by extensive consultations with key stakeholders.
“This budget was preceded by the National Economic Dialogue on the theme: Resetting Ghana; Building the Economy We Want on March 3 and 4.
Through this consensus-building dialogue, the people demanded real solutions to the challenges that plague us as a country,” he stated.
Dr. Ato Forson highlighted that the engagement at the National Economic Dialogue played a crucial role in shaping the policies outlined in the budget.
He expressed confidence that the government is on the right path to restoring the economy through these measures.
The 2025 Budget is expected to address economic challenges and implement strategic reforms to reset Ghana’s economy.
