The Jospong Group of Companies has joined the nation in mourning the tragic loss of eight Ghanaians following a helicopter crash. Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group, expressed profound sorrow over the incident.
In a statement, Dr. Agyepong conveyed his deep sadness regarding the crash, which claimed the lives of individuals he described as dedicated Ghanaians. The victims were identified as:
- Hon. Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah
- Hon. Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed
- Hon. Alhaji Muniru Mohammed Limuna
- Hon. Samuel Sarpong
- Mr. Samuel Aboagye
- Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala
- Flying Officer Manaen (Amaning) Twum Ampadu
- Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah
“This is a heartbreaking loss—to their families, to the Government, and to the Nation they served with honour and distinction. Ghana has lost true patriots,” Dr. Agyepong stated.
On behalf of the entire Jospong Group, Dr. Agyepong extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. “Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time,” he added, concluding with a prayer for the souls of the departed: “May their souls find perfect peace.”
