Paga Youth Movement Congratulates Godwin Asediba on BBC Komla Dumor Award Win

The Paga Youth Movement has officially congratulated TV3 Journalist Godwin Asediba for winning the prestigious 2025 BBC Komla Dumor Award. The award recognizes his outstanding contribution to journalism and his growing influence on the international stage.

In a statement released on Monday and signed by the Movement’s President, Wenawome Duriyem Aborah, the group expressed deep pride in Asediba’s achievements, describing them as “a source of inspiration to the youth and a beacon of hope for the entire Kassena-Nankana West District.”

The BBC Komla Dumor Award, named in memory of the late Ghanaian broadcaster, honors journalists who embody Dumor’s commitment to telling African stories with integrity, impact, and clarity. Godwin Asediba now joins an elite list of African journalists who have won the award since its inception in 2015.

The Paga Youth Movement also noted that Asediba’s recent international recognition continues to elevate the reputation of the district, showcasing the promise and talent that lie within the region.
