Gov’t introduces new E-Payslip system for public workers

The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has launched an upgraded electronic payslip system for all government employees on the National Payroll, aiming to improve transparency, security, and accessibility of payroll information.

The new system requires employees to use their National Identification Authority (NIA) numbers to log in, ensuring that personal payroll data is both secure and accurate.

The initiative, according to officials, is part of broader efforts to modernise government payroll management and strengthen accountability.
