Nigerian streamer and content creator Peller has shaved his head in solidarity with his newlywed wife, Jarvis, following criticism and mockery directed at her appearance online.
Jarvis, whose real name is Amara Nwankwo, attracted criticism on social media after appearing with a shaved head following her white wedding in Lagos last Saturday.
In response to the backlash, Peller decided to adopt the same hairstyle as a show of support for his wife.
In a video shared online, Peller was seen at a barbershop explaining that he wanted to surprise Jarvis by shaving his head.
He said he chose the hairstyle because his wife had also shaved her head and had been subjected to insults and negative comments online.
After completing the haircut, Peller revealed his new look to Jarvis, who appeared pleased by the gesture.
The streamer’s action has drawn attention online, with many viewing it as a public demonstration of support for his wife amid the criticism surrounding her appearance.
