In a significant move to strengthen Ghana’s healthcare sector, Push Aid Africa, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving lives in Africa, has donated essential medical supplies to several healthcare institutions in the country. This initiative is part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to supporting Ghana’s journey toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC), ensuring that all citizens have access to the full range of quality health services.
The 2025 beneficiaries of this annual donation drive are the Agbeve CHPS Compound and the Kaneshie Polyclinic. The supplies, which include hospital beds, gauze, drip stands, catheters, face masks, and many others, are aimed at addressing the pressing needs of these high-traffic facilities.

Speaking with the media, Prof. Jerry John Ouner, President of Push Aid Africa, emphasized the organization’s long-standing relationship with Ghana’s healthcare system. “We have seen the need for these items in the clinics because of the large population they take care of, and we see it as Push Aid Africa’s duty to contribute to healthcare delivery in the country,” he stated.
In addition to the medical supplies, Push Aid Africa also provided educational resources to the Sekondi Nursing and Midwifery Training College. The donation of nursing and midwifery textbooks is intended to enrich the students’ academic experience and deepen their understanding of their profession.

Prof. Ouner extended his gratitude to the faculty of the University of California, San Francisco, and other partners whose support was crucial to the success of this year’s project.
He also issued a public appeal, urging other philanthropic organizations to join the effort in supporting the Ghana Health Service (GHS) and other healthcare institutions that are in dire need of essential tools and materials.

The management of the Kaneshie Polyclinic expressed their appreciation for the donation, assuring Push Aid Africa that the items would be used effectively to enhance the quality of care provided at the facility.
Push Aid Africa (PAAF) is a registered non-profit organization in both the USA (501(c)(3)) and Ghana. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of Africans through strategic initiatives in healthcare, education, and entrepreneurship.
