Sialo Declares Bid for NDC Deputy Youth Organizer in Ho Central

Agbavor Setsoafia Richard, popularly known as Sialo, has officially declared his intention to contest the position of Deputy Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ho Central Constituency, pledging to strengthen youth mobilisation, party organisation and unity within the constituency.

Mr. Setsoafia, who has been an active member of the NDC for several years, said his decision to seek the position was motivated by his desire to contribute more meaningfully to the development of the party and its youth wing.

According to him, his long-standing involvement in the party has provided him with the experience and understanding required to effectively support the constituency’s youth structures.

“I have served our party faithfully since 2006 as the Branch Youth Organizer for the Limb Fitting Center Branch,” he said.

He added that since 2023, he had also served on the Ho Central Youth Working Committee and the Regional Youth Sub-Finance Committee, positions which, he said, had enabled him to gain valuable experience in leadership, youth mobilisation and party organisation.

Mr. Setsoafia said his years of service at the branch, constituency and regional levels had strengthened his commitment to the NDC and deepened his understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing young people within the party.

He expressed confidence that the experience gained over the years would enable him to work effectively with the constituency’s youth leadership and members to build a more coordinated and active youth front.

“I offer myself to serve with dedication, integrity, and a commitment to building a united, vibrant, and well-organized youth front,” he said.

The aspiring Deputy Youth Organizer stressed the importance of unity and effective organisation in achieving electoral success, particularly at the constituency level.

He noted that a strong youth structure was essential to sustaining grassroots mobilisation, encouraging greater participation among young party members and ensuring that the party remained connected to its base.

Mr. Setsoafia also called on party members and supporters to support his bid as he seeks to contribute to the strengthening of the NDC in Ho Central.

“I respectfully seek your prayers, support, and vote as we work together to strengthen our party and secure greater victories for Ho Central,” he appealed.

His campaign is expected to focus on improving youth mobilisation, strengthening grassroots engagement and promoting cooperation among young members of the party.

With his experience as a branch youth organiser and his subsequent involvement in constituency and regional youth structures, Mr. Setsoafia believes he is well positioned to contribute to a more effective and organised youth wing.

He said his ambition was not only to occupy a position but to use the opportunity to work with party members to build a youth front capable of supporting the party’s programmes and electoral objectives.

He concluded his declaration with a call for collective action, saying: “Together, let’s organize better, mobilize stronger, and win bigger.”
